Hi friends,
Recently I saw that the silk thread wrapped bangles are very much in trend. They come in wide range of verieties with different designs and embellishments. I have wanted to try making them at home for some time now but dint get a chance until a few days ago.
Making a silk thread bangle is quite easy. All you need is plain plastic bangle, silk thread, glue and scissor.
The first step is to take twenty strands of silk thread and apply a bit of glue to both their ends. This will make sure that the strands will not get entangled while wrapping them on the bangle.
Now apply glue on the inner surface of the bangle and attach one end of the strands.
Slowly start wrapping the strands around the bangle by passing the them in and out of the bangle. Continue doing this until the entire bangle is covered.
At the end apply glue to inner surface of bangle and attach the strands. Cut off the extra thread with scissor.
Ta da....the silk thread bangle is ready....
